What does the tour consist of?

“The tour starts at the Commercial Village of Campanario, notable for its tower that rises 28 meters high. Continue along the majestic Avenida Grandes Playas to the main street, always full of life, Avenida Nuestra Señora del Carmen,
to cross it and enter into the old town dating back to the early 19th century. You will stroll through its narrow, magical streets
and end at the port, close to the beaches, shops, bars, and restaurants.
Along the way, there are several informative stops at the most emblematic buildings,
monuments, and places of interest, as well as in the most charming corners.

Also, you will discover the 100% authentic flavours of Fuerteventura in the best restaurants and local shops.
You will taste the true majorero goat cheese, the delicious wrinkled potatoes with homemade mojo sauces, the typical and juicy tomato with salt and oil made on the island, as well as the popular candied almonds and walnuts, the peculiar caramelized banana and coconut, fig bread, the gofio mousse, and of course,
our most iconic drink, the honey rum.

Interesting questions

The tour starts outside the Campanario Commercial Village. Once you make your reservation, we will send you the exact location and all necessary instructions.

The tour starts at 10:30 a.m. We ask you please to arrive at the meeting point 10 to 15 minutes before the starting time. This way, we can organise the group and ensure the tour starts on time.

It ends at the Port of Corralejo, close to the beaches, shops, bars, and restaurants.

We hope you understand that for organisational reasons, it is not possible to join the tour mid-tour. This is a group activity, and it is difficult to pick up other participants once the tour has already begun. Thank you for your understanding.

Yes. Corralejo´s infrastructure and the tour route allow wheelchair users to enjoy the tour normally.

If you request it in advance, we will arrange a tour in sign language for you without any problem.

We love animals and their company, but during the tour, we will be inside different establishments, and for safety reasons, pets are not allowed. Thank you for your understanding.

Guide dogs CAN come.

Yes. Bad weather conditions are rare in Corralejo. But in that case, the tour runs as normal, unless the safety of the participants is compromised. If this is the case, we will notify you the cancellaltion in advance. You will then have the option to cancel your reservation and receive a refund, or reschedule for another day.

We recommend bringing comfortable shoes and water. Remember that the days in Corralejo are sunny, so if you need it, don’t hesitate to wear sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat/cap.

Yes. We recommend bringing water, and you can bring other drinks and food if you wish. But remember that during the tour you will have the opportunity to taste the island’s typical gastronomic products.

You will try authentic Majorero goat cheese, tasty wrinkled potatoes with homemade mojo sauce, the typical and succulent tomato with salt and oil made on the island, as well as the popular caramelised almonds and walnuts, the unique caramelised banana and coconut, fig bread, delicious gofio mousse and, of course, our most characteristic drink, honey rum.

No. There are no additional costs other than the tour fee.

The tour is an organised itinerary, so no purchases are made. However, if you wish, we will give you the best recommendations so you can make them once it’s over.

Yes. At the start of the tour, you will be asked for your reservation confirmation, which will have been sent to your email or mobile phone after payment has been made. You don’t need to bring a printed copy; showing it on your mobile phone is enough.

You can book the tour as far in advance as you like. If there are any changes to your reservation, we will let you know in advance so you can change the date or cancel it and receive a refund.

Email us at “info@corralejotourexperience.com” at least 24 hours before the tour starts. Please provide your booking details and the desired day to change it. You can see the available days in the booking calendar. Please note that if the desired date is close to the tour date, places fill up quickly. You can also make a new reservation with the desired day and request a refund of the previous one, if it is within 24 hours, we will proceed to the refund in the same payment method you have used.

You can cancel your reservation and get your money back up to 24 hours before the tour starts. Just email us at info@corralejotourexperience.com and we will process the refund of the full amount you paid.

Yes, we use the payment gateway provided by Santander Bank and payments are processed by Redsýs. We do NOT store details of the cards used to pay, such as full card numbers, expiry dates or security codes. Refunds are also handled through this system and refunds are made to the same payment method used for the booking.
